Introducing the Nonprofit Success Lab

Almost every Idaho nonprofit organization is led by business and community leaders with a passion for impact who may not have the acumen, skills, and tools to take the organization from a position of good to one of great. Enter the Nonprofit Success Lab

This is a space for exploring solutions and learning how to help the organization you lead be healthier, stronger, and better equipped to meet your mission.  The experts associated with the Nonprofit Success Lab have led Idaho's nonprofit sector for many years and have firsthand experience in both the power inherent in this sector and the glaring gaps that exist in almost every organization. While gaps have little to do with where the nonprofit is located it does have a lot to do with gaps in knowledge, skills, and dispositional qualities of those who govern them.

We are providing the expertise to begin filling these gaps through professional development workshops targeted at business and community leaders. If you’re on a board but really don’t know what you’re responsible for, this is a great way to shore up your learning. After all, if we are leading we must keep learning to help navigate changing landscapes and clients!

  • What: 60-minute virtual workshops facilitated by nonprofit experts Connie Miller, Maureen O’Toole, Kimbra Shaw, Blossom Johnston and members of the Thrive Together consulting team.

  • When: 9:30-10:30 AM on the second Thursday of the month. Caveat: One series of workshops (3 Key Work Areas of a Board) will be hosted weekly for four weeks.

Our next Nonprofit Success Lab is this Thursday, Feb 8 at 9:30-10:30 am. This month's topic is: Optimizing Leadership Success Through Board of Directors Onboarding.
