In the next 10 years...

In the coming year, Genesis Community Health is expanding the services they offer in Canyon County from just primary medical care to include dental, mental health, and community health services. As the population they serve moves farther west and transportation continues to be a barrier, the need for these services in Canyon County will only grow. In 10 years, the organization will be consistently providing a path to well-being for the whole of the West Treasure Valley.

Why Genesis Community Health would be a good fit for Idaho Partner for Good's organizational effectiveness grant approach

With the upcoming expansion of services in Canyon County and the transition into a much larger clinic, the next three years will be critical for Genesis to set up the programs in Canyon County for many years to come. This organizational effectiveness grant could not come at a more perfect time to ensure that low-income uninsured people in the West Treasure Valley will have sustainable holistic healthcare for years to come.

Additional Information

In the last year, the amazing volunteers and donors who gave their time and treasure through Genesis provided 1,727 discrete patients with care 6,590 times providing $2,943,877 worth of services.
