Idaho’s safety net is fraying—but too often, the data is fragmented, the stories are siloed, and the people closest to the work feel unseen. This session introduces the Statewide Awareness + Data pillar, which exists to align facts with the lived experiences of Idaho nonprofit leaders so we can respond wisely, locally, and together.
Participants will explore how this data website, coupled with storytelling, and a common narrative can help shift public understanding, influence decision-makers, focus resources and reduce duplication across the nonprofit sector. We’ll examine how nonprofits, policymakers and philanthropy along with local leaders can use data not as an abstract exercise—but as a tool for collaboration, prevention, and stewardship.
You’ll walk away with:
A clear understanding of how this shared data site + shared stories strengthen our advocacy efforts and build trust at the local level.
Examples of how organizations can contribute without needing sophisticated systems.
Practical ways to use the data to tell your story and the story of those you serve more effectively.
