How Donor-Advised Funds can help Idaho Partners for Good
Currently, Donor Advised Funds nationwide hold an astonishing $234 billion in charitable assets. The primary goal of #HalfMyDAF is to direct a substantial portion of these funds toward nonprofit organizations, including ours, by distributing unrestricted matching grants. If you are a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) holder and are willing to commit to spending down at least half of your DAF balance as of March 1, 2023, by September 29, 2023, every grant you make to us or any other nonprofit becomes eligible for a match from #HalfMyDAF.
Here's how you can set up your DAF to support our cause:
Contact Your DAF Provider: Begin by getting in touch with the institution that manages your DAF. They will guide you through the process and provide assistance in allocating your funds.
Specify Idaho Partners for Good: Clearly indicate "Idaho Partners for Good" as the recipient of your grant. Provide them with our full name, address, and any additional details they may require for precise processing.
Determine the Amount: Decide on the amount you wish to grant to Idaho Partners for Good through your DAF. You have the flexibility to make a one-time contribution or set up recurring donations, depending on your preferences and financial situation.
Verify Processing Methods: Discuss with your DAF provider the processing method for your grant. Typically, DAFs issue funds via check or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Ensure that you choose the method that aligns with your preferences and needs.
