Flashback! As part of our 2023 strategy, we had 3 watchwords: proximate, intentional, and double. We took them seriously by getting proximate and intentional, which included hosting in-person activities such as the Transformational Leadership Cohort (TLC) and the 3rd Anniversary Celebration sponsored by Integra Resources (thanks Emily Hendrickson!) and co-hosted by Idaho for Good (thanks Cherie Hoeger, Kylie Bolland & Mitch Samson). Weʻve also been super intentional about donor education through presentations of the Strategic Charitable Giving 101 framework. This has led to doubling the number of these presentations in 2023!
What else happened strategically? Take a look:
Launched the TLC pilot with JEM Friends, NAMI Idaho and Good Samaritan Housing. Come celebrate their accomplishments with us on 11/13/23. BTW - we're looking for sponsors so LMK if you're interested and Iʻll send the info!
In the process of successfully exiting the 3-year capacity building support with Boise Bicycle Project ($45K in unrestricted grants + $50K+ in pro bono consulting). Thanks Tom Gattiker for leading this effort for IP4G!
Pro-bono services provided to many nonprofit leaders through our monthly Coffee Chats. Register for the next one here.
Strategic planning with the Idaho Rural Partnership, DEI+B training with Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and fund development training with the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce.
In conclusion, as we reflect on the strategic achievements of 2023, it's clear that a well-thought-out strategy can lead to remarkable outcomes. We've embraced the watchwords of being proximate, intentional, and aiming to double our efforts. From launching transformative programs to supporting our community partners, our commitment to strategic planning has borne fruit. While perfection in strategy may elude us, our dedication to continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration with our dedicated team of volunteers and partners remains unwavering. Together, we strive to create a positive impact and help our communities thrive.
