About the event
Boise State University is poised to increase your capacity through research, service, internships, and program partnerships. However, the University can be an enigma. This workshop will break down the door and help you plan to work with the University with specific details about how to access support through internships, real case studies, service-learning, volunteerism, research, program assessment, and evaluation.
Participants will be able to:
1) Describe three different opportunities for tapping college students
2) Identify tips for successfully accessing the University's resources
Mike has worked for Boise State University for the last 9 years in the Service-Learning Program. Over that time he has specialized in, Partnership, Community Engagement, Program Management, Curriculum/Course Design, Data Management/Analysis, Public Speaking, Event Planning, and Storytelling. He earned his Master Degree in Education studying experiential education at the University of Washington and his Bachelor's in Environmental Science at Northern Michigan University.
