About the event
What does it mean to be resilient? Are some people born with the ability to be resilient or can these skills be developed? This workshop will focus on determining whether resilience is formed by nature or nurture….or both? We will look at how passion, purpose and perspective play an integral part in gaining and utilizing resilience skills when dealing with adversity and hardship.
1. Definition: we will learn what it means to be resilient.
2. Awareness: we will gain understanding on how adversity and hardship impact us and how resiliency can help us withstand difficulty.
3. Application: we will develop the tools and strategies to build resiliency and implement it in our daily lives.
