Branding Resiliency Into Your Organization: The External and Internal Challenges of Crisis and Change Communications
Time & Location
About the Event
Change is a constant in every organization - whether it is an intentional decision or forced through a crisis. This workshop will consider the ways strong branding can create resiliency in your organization as it responds to these challenges. Focusing on internal and external communication processes and constantly bringing these back to the core elements of your brand will allow your organization to weather every storm.
In this workshop, Lorraine and Gill will provide real-world examples of organizations who have weathered these storms with different levels of effectiveness, and provide you with some ideas for frameworks you can take back to your own organization and implement today so you are in a better position to be resilient in the face of such changes.
About the speakers:
Lorraine is a change management & communications consultant with more than a decade of international experience in facilitating change. Her superpowers are onboarding employees to make them agents of change, encouraging cooperation to let collective intelligence bud and facilitating group discussions to lead them to co-designed decisions. Lorraine supports her clients in driving their transformation projects through commitment and cooperation, giving meaning to the change, writing the story and building a tailor-made change management plan.
Lorraine is also a storyteller and sketchnoting and doodling addict who loves to turn anything she reads or hears into a visual recap. She likes to tell stories with doodles and a few key words. She believes a visual one-pager of a conference or a mission statement definitely helps focusing on key ideas, and being understandable and memorable.
Gill is a brand mixologist and content writer. She loves to absorb people’s stories and then communicate them on to others, which is why she first became an attorney while living in Scotland. Her superpowers are learning about her client's business, understanding what they do, and translating that into something that is compelling and engaging to their ideal client. With her law skills, she is able to analyze content and take both a high-level and detailed approach. Gill helps organizations analyze their brand messages and voice so they have a consistent, professional, identifiable sound across all their business content that connects with their ideal audience.
She has two rambunctious boys and loves nothing more than to get outside hiking, biking, or skiing, and enjoy the great state of Idaho.
